I am very excited to have launched the new Winnipeg Lost Cat Assistance website! This project has been hanging around, in my head, for several years. It never seemed to materialize, though, thanks to the amount of work I do on any given day. But, because Facebook is making it very difficult to do what WLCA does, within their latest framework, here we are!

What you see, today, is just the beginning. This website will continue to grow. It will be dynamic. Expect to see regular news and blog posts, educational articles, resources and improved functionality. Online auction software is also a possibility. I may create a small store with random donated items for sale. The ability to pay by credit card, or electronic funds transfer, and monthly donations will be coming soon, and I would also like to, at some point, enable comments and new content notifications for those who choose to follow. The software “add-ons” for this platform are extensive, so I can be creative and keep you coming back. Who knows what the future will bring?

I hope the content will continue to be relevant for you, the audience, for years to come. And I also hope to hear from people who aren’t on social media. My goal is to get our rescue cats adopted, help people who want to help cats, themselves, and educate the masses. In addition, I may also write about ways humans can make a difference in the lives of all animals. The sky is the limit on your own website.
