Missy Mia Sanchez (aka Yagi Sanchez) was my BFF kitty. We rescued her, at five months old, while she was trying to cross Main at Inkster. She looked like a little black squirrel – tiny with a big, bushy tail. That girl lived for almost 20 years and became more human than many humans I’ve met. I have named WLCA’s thrift shop in her memory.

Missy Mia’s Emporium is an online, second-hand store. Rather than hosting auctions, which take huge amounts of time to assemble and execute, this store will take donated goods and sell them for reasonable prices. All proceeds go to support the cats in WLCA’s care. I am hoping the store becomes a regular stop for anyone looking for new, or nearly-new goods.

We are not using a payment gateway as transaction fees are high, information is too easily hacked, and we want every dollar to go to the cats. Included is a shopping cart that sends your order to the shop administrator. Payment information is outlined on checkout, and pickup will be arranged once the order has been confirmed via email and paid (very similar to how we run our auctions). We do not use cookies or retain personal information.
